Where have all the lemmings gone? They’ve lost their souls; they’ll be home no more. On shuffling feet they headed fast with all the others, for no one could bear to be last. Who began the run, nobody knew, but to run so fast with so many followers, they must be running for a purpose, strong and true. The harder they ran the more sure they grew, poor lemmings, why did no one ever teach you? As you plunged to your watery grave down below, were you finally, tortuously, sadly aware of your part in this mass suicide, of rational thought you failed to own.
